Day 1 – Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Countryside

Your first day begins with pickup from your hotel in Siem Reap at approximately 7:30–8:00 AM. We will travel through the beautiful Cambodian countryside toward Kbal Spean, also known as the “River of a Thousand Lingas.”

Enjoy a peaceful walk through the forest to discover ancient Hindu carvings engraved into the riverbed. Your guide will explain their religious meaning and the importance of the sacred water during the Angkor period.

We then continue to Banteay Srei, famous for its beautiful pink sandstone and exceptionally detailed carvings. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Preah Dak Village to experience traditional Cambodian countryside life and discover local products such as palm sugar and palm cakes.

Our final stop is Banteay Samre, a peaceful and well-preserved 12th-century temple known for its elegant Khmer architecture and beautiful sandstone carvings.

After the visit, we will return to your hotel in Siem Reap in the late afternoon.

Day 2 – Roluos Group & Kampong Phluk

Your second day begins with pickup from your hotel at approximately 8:00 AM. Travel southeast of Siem Reap to explore the Roluos Group, one of the earliest important temple areas of the Angkor period.

Visit Preah Ko, known for its brick towers and early Khmer carvings, followed by Bakong, an impressive pyramid-style temple, and Lolei, another important monument connected with the ancient city of Hariharalaya.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue through rice fields and traditional villages toward Kampong Phluk on Tonlé Sap Lake.

Take a boat through the village to see its remarkable stilted houses, local schools, fishing activities, and everyday life. Depending on the season and water level, you may also have the opportunity to explore the beautiful flooded forest and continue onto the open waters of Tonlé Sap Lake.

After exploring Kampong Phluk, we will return to Siem Reap and drop you off at your hotel in the late afternoon.

The itinerary and timing may be adjusted slightly depending on weather, traffic, water levels, and the pace of the group.
