1-Day Angkor Sunrise Tour

Dawn breaks gently over Angkor Wat, bathing its towers in warm light. The still water reflects the grandeur of history, and every moment feels suspended between past and present.

Itinerary

1 / Hotel Pickup

4:00-4:30am we will pick you up from your hotel and travel to Angkor Wat

*timing subjective to where you stay

2 / Angkor Wat

5:00am Angkor Wat will open for travelers to enter, will bring you to the photo spot, where we will wait for sunrise.

After sunrise, we will walk around Angkor Wat as I tell you the stories behind it. 

3 / Breakfast

Sit down at a cafe outside of Angkor Wat to have breakfast bento and coffee.

*Hotel should have prepared breakfast bento for you before you leave the hotel.

4 / Angkor Thom

After breakfast, we will hop on the car, travelling towards Angkor Thom.

At Angkor Thom, we will explore the various temples - like Bayon and ​Baphuon Temple.

4 / Lunch

We will then stop for Lunch before continuing our last leg of the journey

5 / Ta Prohm

After Lunch, we will explore Ta Prohm, It is famous for its dramatic appearance in the 2001 film “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.” 

6 / Back to Hotel

3:00pm - We will head back to the hotel.

Bayon Temple

The Bayon is a well-known and richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century as the official state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII

Baphuon Temple

The Baphuon is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It is located in Angkor Thom, northwest of the Bayon. Built in the mid-11th century, it is a three-tiered temple mountain built as the state temple of Udayadityavarman II dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva.

The South Gate is the most famous and well-preserved entrance to Angkor Thom, the last great capital city of the Khmer Empire, built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century.

Ta Prohm Temple

Ta Prohm temple is one of the most popular and fascinating ones with many ancient trees roots snaking across crumbling stone walls. It is a separate temple complex built in the late 12th and early 13th centuries by King Jayavarman VII.
